Chelsea Hall

These images are taken of my twin sister Sam, as part of my final major project. In the photographs, Sam is perching comfortably on the window ledge. Her sincere expression and relaxed posture are accentuated by soft, window lighting.

Through Sam’s gentle gaze at the camera, the portraits reflect onto the intimate relationship between the photographer and the subject. I am hoping to explore the relationship between myself and my twin in greater depth as I continue working on this project during lockdown.

Following on from this, I am looking forward to completing my photography degree at East Surrey College in September.

  1. The photographs emphasise the trust between the twins, and I think the continuation of the project will be interesting and illuminating. As standalone images the photos are very engaging.
