Song 3 was the first track written by producer, bassist and sound engineer Peter Waterton. The process of recording all instruments took 1 day. The genre of the track could be described as Experimental and took many influences for sounds and recording techniques from different bands and genres, such as Enter Shikari and 65DaysOfStatic. For example, the piano was recorded to expose the mechanical sounds of the piano, such as in Hania Rani’s music, and the drums were recorded to have a massive sharp and dry sound similar to ‘And So I Watch You’ From Afar’s. The end result is a piece of music that has been written, recorded, mixed and mastered in only 6 weeks.
